FAQ

The useful answers, without the runaround.

Start with amount, timing, credit, and cost. The lender’s agreement is the final word on an offer.

How much can I request?

You can request between $200 and $50,000. The amount a lender may offer can be different, and some requests may not receive an offer.

How long does it take to get started?

The online request usually takes a few minutes if you have your details ready. A lender may need extra documents before making a final decision.

How fast could the money arrive?

Some lenders may fund as soon as the same or next business day after approval and acceptance. Timing depends on verification, the lender, your bank, weekends, and holidays. Same-day funding is never guaranteed and may sometimes require local pickup.

Will checking options affect my credit score?

The initial matching step may use a soft credit inquiry, which generally does not affect your score. A lender may run a hard inquiry after you choose to continue, and that can affect your score. Read the consent text before submitting.

Can I apply with bad or limited credit?

Yes, if you meet the basic requirements. Lenders may look at income and banking activity as well as credit history. Each lender makes its own decision, so approval is not guaranteed.

What do I need to get started?

You generally need to be 18 or older, live in an available U.S. state, have a valid checking account, receive steady income, and earn at least $1,000 per month before tax.

What information should I have ready?

Have your contact and identity details, income and employment information, and checking-account details ready. A lender may also ask for pay stubs or bank statements. Enter sensitive details only in the secure partner form.

What can I use a personal loan for?

Common reasons include car or home repairs, medical costs, moving expenses, bills, debt consolidation, and other planned or unexpected expenses. The lender agreement may limit how funds can be used.

Will I need a co-signer?

Usually not, but it depends on the lender and the loan. If a co-signer is needed, that should be made clear before you continue.

What if I do not like the offer?

Say no. You are not required to accept an offer, and Fintara does not charge you for walking away. Check the APR, fees, payment dates, and total repayment before deciding.

Are personal loans secured or unsecured?

Many personal installment loans are unsecured, so they do not require a car or home as collateral. Some products are secured. The lender agreement will spell that out.

Does Fintara charge a fee?

No. It costs nothing to use Fintara or submit a request. A lender may charge interest or other clearly disclosed fees if you accept an offer.

Is approval guaranteed?

No. No legitimate lender or matching service can promise approval before reviewing your request. Decisions, amounts, and terms depend on the lender and your information.

Is Fintara Loans a lender?

No. Fintara helps people explore loan options through a lender network. The lender makes the credit decision, sets the terms, and handles funding and repayment.
